Besties Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez have the internet buzzing after the 81st annual Golden Globe Awards.
The duo was spotted intensely whispering to each other during a commercial break, and fans have been trying to fill in the blanks while speculating about their conversation.
Gomez appears to be dishing some serious dirt to a visibly shocked Swift, and viewers have speculated the two friends were talking about Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner.
The video circulating the web has no audio, but a few fans have theorized the conversation could have been about Gomez trying to get a photo with Chalamet and being rebuffed by his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, based on Gomez’ lip movements.
Gomez and Chalamet worked together in the 2019 Woody Allen film “A Rainy Day in New York.”
In light of the speculation and amateur lip-reading, a source close to Gomez told People “she was absolutely not referencing anything about Timothée or Kylie.”
The source didn’t specify what kind of tea Gomez was spilling but insists the conversation had nothing to do with the couple. Still, fans are having some fun with throwing out some theories. One Twitter user joked, “Selena telling Taylor the Chiefs playoff game is on Peacock.”
“Taylor: my mom said she will pick us up, if your mom can drop us off.” Another fan commented on People’s Instagram post.
Gomez and Jenner have denied feuding in the past, but Jenner’s team have yet to respond to the claims.
