Applications are now being accepted for 50 middle-income apartments at a new residential development on the Astoria waterfront. Located at 26-25 4th Street, The Winslow offers brand-new luxury apartments and breathtaking waterfront views of the Manhattan skyline. New Yorkers earning 130 percent of the area median income, or between $106,458 for a single person and $198,250 for a household of five, can apply for the units, which range from $3,105/month studios to $3,963/month two bedrooms.

Developed by Bruman Realty and designed by J. Frankl Associates, the 19-story building offers residents an array of modern amenities, including a gym, game room, business lounge, bike storage, parking, and a rooftop with grills and mesmerizing views of the surrounding cityscape.

Residences feature spacious layouts, large windows, high-end finishes in kitchens and bathrooms, and private balconies in select units.

In September 2020, permits were filed for the building, calling for an 18-story building with 165 total residences. The initial permit listed Solomon Feder as the original owner behind the applications, according to Yimby.

SCALE Lending in September 2021 provided $65.9 million in funding for the completion of the building, according to Yimby. More recent reports and construction permits indicated that Bruman Realty had taken over the project from Feder.

Nearby public transit options include the Q18, Q19, Q102, and Q103 buses, as well as the NYC Ferry.

Qualifying New Yorkers can apply for the apartments until May 20, 2024. Complete details on how to apply are available hereQuestions regarding this offer must be referred to NYC’s Housing Connect department by dialing 311.
