A man was fatally shot Wednesday afternoon across the street from a Manhattan church, cops said.
The 42-year-old man was shot in the torso and back around 4:54 p.m. near West 122nd St. and Lenox Ave., across the street from St. Martin’s Episcopal Church in Harlem.
The victim was taken by private means to Harlem Hospital, where he died of his injuries.
It was unclear what sparked the gunfire as cops try to track down the attacker.
