U.S. Treasury and eurozone government bond yields were little changed in early trade as investors stay sidelined ahead of the Federal Reserve’s policy meeting.
The Fed is expected to keep rates unchanged in a decision Wednesday and is unlikely to signal rate cuts in the months to come due to recent solid U.S. data.
“The U.S. central bank is expected to keep rates steady and signal no intent to break the deadlock any time soon,” said analysts at KBC Bank in a note.
