Chief Israeli military spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, in a televised press briefing on Tuesday, declined to provide details on any expected retaliation for the killing of senior Hamas official Saleh Arouri. Arouri was reportedly killed in an Israeli drone strike on Beirut’s southern suburbs of Dahiyeh, known as a Hezbollah stronghold. The Israeli military, in response to questions from Reuters, stated that it does not comment on reports from foreign media.

The drone strike targeted a Hamas office in Dahiyeh, resulting in a total of six casualties, as reported by Lebanon’s state news agency. Unfortunately, at the time of the report, security sources and medics were unable to immediately identify the other three individuals killed in the strike
